Today is the 25th anniversary of the Chinese communist government’s brutal massacre of the pro-democracy movement in Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
It also is the 38th anniversary of the greatest game in NBA history: Game 5 of the 1976 NBA Finals, played before 15,320 fans at the old Boston Garden on a warm, steamy Friday night. Final Score — Boston Celtics 128, Phoenix Suns 126 in three overtimes. The win gave Boston a 3-2 series lead. The Celtics won their 13th NBA championship two days later in Phoenix, 87-80.
