Prior to the 2014 NCAA men’s basketball tournament, Warren Buffet announced that he would award $1 billion to anyone who could produce a perfect tournament bracket. Naturally, no one did.
As of this writing, the 2014 NFL draft is less than four hours away. Imagine if Buffet organized a similar contest, for anyone who can correctly guess every NFL team’s draft choices. What are the odds of that happening? With all the possible trades and other shenanigans, the odds are more astronomical than producing a perfect March Madness bracket. Therefore, Buffet should offer $10 billion.
